  1. Would that be Ulster Unionist or Democratic Unionist or Popular Unionist or ... we Ulstermen have so much more choice!
  2. Even Pharmacist's have Asthma Catch. If it wasne for your Inhaler where would ye be ...
  3. Cough, cough wheeeze, wheeze. Thanks Catch, that just gave me an Asthma attack!
  4. Look like the flow this morning is NE - SW with showers in the North Sea penetrating as far as Glasgow. Prospects there? Nice view of Aviemore this morning.
  5. Good morning all. No precipitation whatsoever! Temp. -7.6C.
  6. Judging by what has fallen at Aviemore, Drumochter this band is giving no accumulations anyway. Waste of time.
  7. Yes SL2 its called Snow Psychosis and it is a worrying symptom to report. Full blown madness normally follows within 48 hours. Heavy snowfall is ameliorative, if only temporarily, as symptom will return.
  8. New METO Warning! Local areas affected Warning type Valid from Valid to Central, Tayside & Fife: Angus Clackmannanshire Dundee Falkirk Fife Perth + Kinross Stirling Widespread Icy Roads 1630 Mon 4 1200 Tue 5 Outbreaks of rain, sleet and snow, spreading south across Scotland this afternoon will fall onto already frozen surfaces giving widespread icy roads and pavements. 9. The temp. here is -0.4C/-1.1C but rising at a rate of 1.1C/hr. This front, if it makes it here, could well bring sleet/freezing rain which has been my fear since Saturday's non event.
  10. Going for an early night. Rota and sixty Methadones tomorrow plus lampost watching tomorrow night. Nite nite all.
  11. Indeed Catch. Plus the drains in many areas are buried under ploughed snow - now ice, so where will a lot of the water go - Flooding?
  12. I'm holding you to that LS! It is now -9.3C DP -10.5C. Why can't it snow now.
  13. Agreed bingobob. Perth has had no snow worth mentioning for over a week and the place is a dirty icy eyesore to be honest. The potholes are becoming more common and it takes much concentration while driving to avoid them. I fear we may get sleet/freezing rain tomorrow night if anything, which will only make things worse. Anyone having to walk any distance eg. my wife, is finding it dangerous and unpleasant.
  14. Did you throw a few scraps to those poor ravenous gulls shuggee.
  15. That's encouraging Shuggee. I was very fearful that Perth was in for a repeat of rain and sleet like yesterday, but those Uppers are looking good. Maybe they aren't Scottish but they sure look content enough in the Forth Big Innes. Perhaps Iceland was a tad too warm for them so they've migrated since Christmas.
  16. Max today -2.9C. Now -3.7C. Could beat last weeks -15.4C tonight methinks.
