Does anyone know whats going on with sat24 there is a course correction with the clouds but the out line stays put computer glitch or manual correction???

sorry meant se what ever andy had before is catching I understand what you mean by an arc but there is deffinitely more eastward movement according to the radar than southerly temps and dewpoints droping nicely here and when I learn to read what I type maybe my post will make more sense

Sleet here in Cardiff temps fine but dew points just a tad to high will have to wait until later in the day for dew point to drop I'll have to make an excuse to the Mrs and pop up the valleys for snow

Down by the Atrium opposite the prison jay I got a feeling dew points are going to ruin it for Cardiff

Looking at the different sat feeds it looks like the main band of percipitation has taken most of the night to move about 100 miles so not really expecting it to speed up now

Well I can confirm moderate very cold rain might do better inland

Think yourself lucky Andy cold and wet in Cardiff Temps OK but the due points a tad high at 1c time yet this winter and of course snows only 1/2 hour by car if things get bad ( got to have 1 more snow fix before the end of winter)

I understand that the snow falling in America will not fall here but it it does seem to be that when they have snow our weather does not seem to be that far behind After all the planet does run in cycles the seasons being the most obvious However there is a more modern cycle and that is the 7 day dust cycle which has been proven to cause more precipitation on a Saturday than any other day throughout a year So maybe there is some cyclic link between Americas weather and ours Another example would be ST Switherns day (sorry about the spelling) at an uneducated guess I would imagine this came about when our climate was different to now and when it rained on that day it was synoptically set up to rain for a fair while after this leading to propergation of the story Theres always a grain of truth in these stories its just a matter of sifting through the chaff to get to it

Thanks Andy its just that on the weather radars it seems to be making progress is it possible for it to cut under our high pressure? ( sorry probably a vey naive question from a newbie ) edit just gone back to the radars and its just all disapeared in a puff of smoke pardon the pun

Does anyone know how far that atlantic low is progged to move towards us because on the sat24 you can see the mass to the west and something to the east butting up against each other on the meteox 3hr predictive you can see a weather front slowly moving towards us abit like benb has just posted

not to early tomorro morning I hope as me and the Mrs are finally having a night out in Cardiff tonight after being ill all over the christmas period and not being able to go out. Is there any timings when it might reach Cardiff?
