I've got thunder and lightning in abbey wood but no rain and the storm is over head - can anyone explain why is there no rain? correction...its here and very heavy!! lovely CGs -

I don't ever really remember hearing about the storm surges when they mention the catagory of the hurricanes that hit land just the wind speeds. Is this a contemplation of changing the SS-scale or a definate but just a matter of time?

....Blimey!!! That's gonna be very interesting to see what happens when the dome collapses. Is there any civilisation near Redoubt? As much as I'd love to see a impressive eruption not at the cost of civilians

Rather brave bird to be flying near the volcano....very annoying too but interesting picture even if there is a horrid smudge though it!

wow those are amazing images - how did you get the colour so strong/bold? this is my most recent attempt at rainbows..there were 4 (two main ones and two faint ones) during the day

The first image looks very similar to the lava flow that's down the side of Mount Vesuvius. Lovely images can't wait to see what the webcam has to show. Such a big lava bomb...do they get bigger than that size as that looks pretty big to me!
