  1. :) wallpapering a ceiling is a very accurate description.

Also applies to pet travel carriers and vets appointments.

I love Simon's cat! His new book is hilarious.

If this snow doesn't ease, I will have to take His Lordship outside and

hold an umbrella over him while he thinks about it.

Getting to work tomorrow is going to be tricky.. just seen a 4x4 go down the hill sideways!

Snow seems to be getting heavier too.

Hehehehehehehehe I quite agree about the umbrella, I keep finding them sneaking into the garage and sitting purposefully on one of my motorbikes, then seeing them skatter as the alarm goes off, again!

Gosh, if 4x4 are having trouble then I'm deffinetly "working from home" tomorrow :)

  2. Still snowing here on the IOW.

Just been out for a walk and we have at least 3 inches, and it's still coming down heavily.

    My cat is NOT impressed.

He hasn't had a pee since this morning and he's started to walk funny.

But will he go out? Um, no. He won't. :)

    HAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Neither of my cats like going outside either, instead they use the bathroom mats, lovley. Putting them out the cat flap is like trying to wallpaper a ceiling. They really hate snow, and cold. They now command the biggest radiators in the house, and hiss at me if I go anywhere near them (the radiators)

Infact the're getting more like Simon's cat every day!

  3. The watch is on! I got caught out last time (before Christmas) and got stuck at work (Basingstoke), then braved the long trek home on my motorbike in the snow and ice.

Hopefully this time I wont get caught out.

    Anyway...

It would seem that the whole of Hampshire is on a 50/50 chance of seeing snow. Up here in North Hampshire its been pretty good, but I understand why others in Hants are still dreaming of a white-out. The model variations are so dramatic that I wouldn't want to put money on it either way (snow vs. no-snow).

  4. Its been seriously odd here in Basingstoke (North Hampshire). All days its been snow shower, thaw, snow shower, thaw, pretty much every hour.

So glad I didn't go to work today, I'd hate to think what the roads will be like come 5:30/6:00.

Its now a complete white out, the 6th or 7th today!

I haven't seen weather like this since the late '80's early '90's, its remarkable and wonderful. I've filled 4 1GB memory cards with pictures.

Here's hoping this weekends "event" brings some more!

  6. You must have snow in Basingstoke - we have a good covering here just past Popham off the A303?

Nope sadly not, I've been eagerly waiting for it and nothings happened. It was bright and sunny all day, its got colder and colder (currently -3) my weather station says 53% humidity with a dry and bright tendancy.

I'm at a loss as to why we haven't got any.
