  1. Il upload some pics later , fantastic snowfall 9 inches and drifts of 2 feet in places , this would be fantastic in the heart of winter !!! It's nearly April . Ok we missed out on some really cold weather but for snowfall and longevity this is my favourite winter of my life !
  2. Still blizzard like conditions here , and it's march 22nd for gods sake , so you just can't grumble! Had approx 5 cm this evening 😀

  4. snow really gathering together now , even slushy areas re-covering
  5. the flakes certainly gone big the last 5 mins , helping to stick to all surfaces could be good later on previously cleared surfaces now recovering !
  6. Big fluffy flakes just started here only 35 hours and 59mins of snow left then :/
  7. Got between 7-8 cm last night this morning still a partial covering of 4 cm on places , I'm at 500ft asl so would I be right in assuming 20 cm over the next 24/36 hours ?
  8. It's like a tundra outside grey cold and very January esq , how come the Atlantic has failed so far to bring any mild south westerlies ? I've never known it be so cloudy for so long and be so cold at the same time, Will this current pattern continue indefinitely ? The nights start drawing in in three months and it hasn't even got mild yet , I know it hasn't been exceptionally cold but could we be in for a cold year. One final question is it related to sun spots or stray warming?
  9. Snowing here with a partial covering , nice surprise
