    Woke up to a light covering and still snowing lightly. The snow is drifting around in the cold wind

    We had a bit of sleet not too long ago and every now and again the flakes became more prevalent, it's stopped now though.

    yeah no worries mate, just wanted to find out wether the ppn on the radar was real..lol, I hope you wasn't out there searching for snowflakes. I dunno how Yamkin saw snowflakes here, he must have been staring at the lamp post for time, because I was out there smoking and didn't see any.

    ANAPROP - Anomalous Propagation - when radar microwaves are refraction by things like inversions down to the ground, and are then reflected back to the dish - as far as the radar is concerned, something is there, and so it displays it as a return, but it is not precip!

    Cool... at least we know it won't be a sinker, maybe we could get lucky and finally see it migrating to Greenland. I know it's the BOM, but this would be nice (for cold lovers)

    The ECM control goes cold again towards the end. The CMA also shows high pressure trying to build to our NW again at the end.
