  1. Large numbers of Cars stuck in traffic jams right in the path of this Wedge as it enters Moore. I also see from from Spooter net there are also a number of chasers also stuck in the same jam.
  2. Mid level rotation already on the cell NE of Rush Springs - this is the cell that we can see from the NetWx video stream.
  3. Can you ensure that you keep the GPS track up and running? - the stream is OK but not important.
  4. SEARCH AND RESCUE CREWS REQUESTED FOR SHAWNEE
  5. reports of numarous cars that have been blown over at the juction of I40 and HW177 - about 1 mile NW of your current location.
  6. LOL waterspout! over Lake Thunderbird to the west of Norman.
  7. Torndao has crossed the South side of Carney next town in the path is Agra.
  8. The reportsers in the cars are giving out so much false information "It is EF4 or EF5" - really!
  9. Arron - get off HW 66 and jump East on the interstate quickly!
  10. Damage now being reported inside Edmond.
  11. NWS in Wichita, KS has been evacuated and has turned over operations to NWS in Topeka
  12. Cell over Piedmont, just NW of OKC is showing strong rotation, 50K Tops with 70kg/mw VIL. I am really hoping the the NW crew will target this cell as they will not be able to make Wichitia- they need to be in Guthrie in about 1 hours time will doable as they are just approching Moore, OK right now.
  13. My virtual target today would be Arkansas City, Kansas.
  14. I count four tornadoes so far from the Rozel, Kansas storm
  15. Truncated cone tornado on the cell NE of Dodge city - you can see it on KAKE Bryce Kintigh's feed (Imap.tv)
  16. My target would be between Ashland, Greenburg, Coldwater Kansas - just North East of the dryline buldge/triple point but I also agree with the SW OK target.
  17. It now looks fairly certain that a trough will establish itself in the Rockies by this weekend giving SW flow over most of the Plains for at least week! Edit - I see that both Paul and I are now on 66 tornadoes each
  18. What about a mobile windscreen replacement service? Get them to pop the old screen out so that you can get the key and then refit it - just a thought.
  19. Looks like a classic colorado play today - first head towards Bennet on I70 (great truck stop there north of the interstate) but remember to stay on the WEST side of any cell that forms early - really good chance for landspout tornadoes. Next follow any cell that sustains itself off the Palmar divide and starts tracking into the deeper dewpoints towards Washington / Yuma county. currently there is astrong DCVZ in place - Bennet is the place to start from (as ever!)
  20. As can be seem from the attached graphic I was way too close to this tornado when it formed. I have also attached some raw fottage (taken at night) from my dash-cam. This tornado was on the ground for 54 minuites and has been rated EF2.
