It has not stopped snowing here in sittingbourne now for nearly 90min. It looks like we are in jackpot zone for more also. This has been so much better than last night and it’s not over yet!

Erm yep
Run the radar scans from 1130 to 1145 - Really organising now and outflow from each cell should aid and keep up the intensity. Am hoping the strong echo further NE can spawn a solid line down to the cell off the coast of Shoebury
This is resulting in more overnight snow then last night! The current radar is looking great! Just need the flow to continue!

Is Thurs/Fri snow now not expected to get as far East as the south east corner?
As things stand snow until early afternoon and then Friday snow most of day. Or so I believe.

Correct. Similar positioning to last night, perhaps a touch further west with a more E'ly flow overnight. Maidstone closed!
I’m in sittingbourne pretty much opposite Southend and we have done very well. Between 12-15cm. Another 7 tonight would be great. Guessing another late night lol!

Areas of snow definitely appear to be moving more toward WSW rather than SW on recent radar scans, winds along North Sea coasts Ely while NEly further west inland, could see snow across parts of SE London soon.
Thoughts for tonight Nick?

Yes, a case of ‘for the few, not the many’.
Thursday/Friday remains the best bet for the region as a whole.
-3.3C and clear.
BBC really pushing Thursday/Friday
