[Snow Watch: Scotland]

Just down the road in Dundee what is falling is definately sleet. Just in from sledging with the kids where the earlier flurries were snow but when the steady stuff started it turned to sleet unfortunately and evrything now pretty wet underfoot.

Came down from Highland Perthshire this afternoon through some pretty heavy snow showers so maybe inland might do better.

well not looking good for commuters going to work on fri morning! brian glaize from the weather outlook is predicting southern britain could get another 20cm of snow on fri! and last week he predicted the biggest snow fall since 1991 for today! he seems quite confident but at the moment it is a moderate risk! intresting times ahead.

In 1991 i had to walk to work as my car was half coverd.And half way there my hands were above my head it was so deep. Looks better up here on thu/fri,not that better though.

Just been out and it is still snow,although i;m about 200ft up.Not sure about a big dump though. I think things are changing,mabe not quick though.

First ever post guys,just had the best shower yet.Hope it;s a good night here just outside dundee. Funny how the showers start as little balls then develop into large flakes as the shower progresses.Any explinations on this.?
