Yes little hope really for majority of region although south coastys could get a few cm. I wonder though if it could just deepen slightly more than expected and push it accross out whole region?

Snow can pop up from anywhere.. look at last week i think it was.. when we had a few hours of snow.. yeah wet rubbish.. but pretty to watch... As long as its cold.. Their is always hope.

Yes utter pants to be honest with a real lack of frost and penetrating cold.

My meto app has downgraded my light snow for tuesday now and just has cloudy and cold before rain on wednesday.

IMBY I think its been second worst for cold and snow as well as frost for ten years.

Meto still have me light snow from 3 am till 6 am and 9 am...Hope that does not vanish aswell

I've done an extensive search for a straw to clutch and I think I've found a beauty.....The massive snow storm over in the states today happened to fall on the 35th anniversary of the last big snow storm to hit Boston. Back in 1978, nine days after the storm hit Boston, we in the South West were hit by blizzards and massive drifts.

I'm clutching on tightly to my straw of improbable coincidences and I'm not letting go. Massive dumping coming up for all us South Westerners, ETA 18th/19th February.
