Just had some light rain here with really large drops. Sounded loud against the skylight window. No lightning or thunder though.
Just saw that on radar... always builds just outside of devizes! feeling very muggy, a shower would of been nice

Good evening, fellow NetWeather storm enthusiasts, as I have moved back to the west country and taking into account atmospheric parameters, both Hi-Res, GFS, and custom skew-t's, the lead me forward to the following conclusion.......
'El Bristolio & El Devonio are coming!!!!'
Hope our very own Salisbury plane can spark something into life...

BREAKING: Some better news re #Oklahoma - medical examiner now revising feared death toll to 24 people, not 91 as she said last night.
Least their is some better news today.
Plus, why do they build such flimsy houses of wood? Just curious to know - anyone with a deep insight of the US know why?
From Wiki
More generally, people often build houses out of the nearest available material, and often tradition and/or culture govern construction-materials, so whole towns, areas, counties or even states/countries may be built out of one main type of material. For example, a large fraction of American houses use wood, while most British and many European houses utilize stone or brick.

From what I am reading it starts next year!! You never know.... We could get more than we bargained for!!
But sure we will all be dead by then... 2012 is just a bit late did you not know?
This summer should be interesting though, More sea ice melts means we get wetter weather over summer and means more floods and so on. Also colder winters from what i have read and watched on tv, Last few years seems to be true... But then again weather goes round in cycles
-
Sure, back to more of a wintry mix now but managed to take a couple of the car before the rain washes it away!!
Bloody good that for may! Wonder will Mullender's hill get something later..
-
Its currently 0.7c here.... Settling more now. Weather is very weird!!
Can you take a picture?
-
Second hail shower of the day right now
-
Yep, i do hope so!
Matt Hugo posted this earlier, it shows 2m temps covering June, July and August. After looking at it again, we could be slightly above average but if you're in the East or East coast, it looks pretty crap. Going by that, it suggests lots of Easterly set-ups, poor for the East due to low temp anomalies in the North sea but further West, it wouldn't be too bad.
Looks crap for Spain..time will tell...Spain wet but humid could be fine few Spanish plumes why not... I think it will be wet again, But who knows,
