This was the high gust I had while I was there, for a good minute or so, it didn't drop below 50mph, I had to breathe under my armpit as it was virtually impossible to do so standing head on.
Where you order them from? As their are lots... Lets say search on amazon, how does one know what one is good...

Yep - stupid place to build a trainline. I don't know what people expect when you build houses 5 yards from the sea. The collapse of that Sea Wall isn't really that surprising either, given the amount of bashing it's had over the decades.
Not really this was Victorian Britain where their actually would build defences to defend it, Plus was a Brunel masterpiece taking in the scenery of the coast
The only stupidity is the governments by taking money away from flood/sea defences

An early CME prediction model has been released following the X1.2 solar flare. The model is predicting the fast moving CME to deliver an almost direct blow to our geomagnetic field late on January 8th (Wednesday), early January 9th.
What are chances of seeing anything?

W COUNTRY It's going to take to early hours for rain to fade from W across many districts, especially to SE areas. Not good.

W COUNTRY Net result of current rain & that of next week is increasing flood risk; plus gales/severe gales all making for a disruptive spell
As things stand, highest (60+kts) winds by later Mon look most likely across S England from circa Dorset/E Wilts/Hants east to Sussex/SE.
Just saw that on twitter. Hopefully he will pop in here.
