Its very fine lines with this but we have had on/off showers all morning and a decent amount on the ground now.

Literally just cut under myself gutted! Looked like a good streamer that one
Current streamer coming through, I am just missing it, up the road in Coalville might be fairing slightly better?
-
There's some more beefy looking showers heading this way if they keep their intensity. Looks like it could be a decent accumulation by the end of the day if this continues. Such fine lines though.

Gone very heavy here last 5 mins. Seems we are right in the sweet spot for these streamer showers. Had a good old covering this morning. This current shower the heaviest yet.

Feels like one of those situations if only everything was a little further South. Well done to those of you who have seen some white stuff so far. Not much happening in Solihull. Almost considered taking a train trip to Matlock (but don’t think would have been allowed being in Tier 3)
Yes, been frustratingly on the edge of this all morning. Just very cold light rain here, can't see much more than that occurring.
-
Looking at the radar I am right on the edge of this pivot and have been for a good hour or two, so close to the white stuff but not too hopeful, just drizzle here.
-
Had a bit of a dusting here

Not a flake and not at all surprised. The writing was on the wall pretty early yesterday evening for us. Had all crossed but it would have been bordering on a miracle!

How far north is that heavy precipitation expected to travel, which is currently over the English Channel?
Was thinking the same, looks quite a beefy bit does that
-
Fingers firmly crossed but for me it is highly unlikely we'll see much. In fact I am not sure we'll see anything.

At one point yesterday I was down for 13 hours of consistent light snow, it is now down to about 3!

the iffy bbc app was bang on here yesterday...sleet until 3 then snow until 6 then nothing but a light shower. if i had planned my day on the met office info i would of been looking for mammoths in my 11 hrs of intermittent heavy snow! its funny when you run apps side by side...kinda wonder how 2 high performance systems can be so different at the same time "Actual Real Time" as well. very frustrating!
I too found the BBC forecast the most accurate yesterday predicting rain until 5ish then some sleet then a complete stop by 7-8. Only giving light snow for a few hours tomorrow evening now

Just been out with the dogs. Light drizzle here, perhaps a slight drop in temp. Ground was hard underfoot this morning, wet and mushy now. Can't see too much happening here, perhaps a little something later but it is just not cold enough at the moment
-
It all looks too far South for me I think but happy to be proved wrong. Its currently very overcast here with very light rain.
-
Currently very light rain here in North West Leicestershire.
-
Snowing steadily here, a good covering already. Wow. Wasn't expecting this, pleasant surprise. I need wine!
-
Turned to snow in leicester city centre.
Is there much around in Leicester? Was due to run the Braunstone parkrun this morning but it was cancelled.
-
Cool hopefull it might change here as the back end passes through! I wonder if brad gate park has a good covering for sledging
Well we still have a fair bit on the ground here, not sure about Bradgate though? Was thinking the further into Leicester you go the less there is but perhaps worth checking out with my dogs later!

Bagworth/Coalville been doing very well compared to the rest of Leicestershire with this winter's snow. Lot of schools round here closed yesterday. Still coming down hard now, just not sticking that well.
-
It's amazing I am 5 miles west of u in ashby and all heavy rain!!! What is going on!! Go away rain
Yes odd but definitely falling more as snow. Been at it for about half an hour now. Not settling all that well though but still coming down.
-
Been snowing steadily here for last 20 mins leaving a dusting on side roads.
-
A lot of schools closed in this area and Coalville. Both my kids off. Quite a lot of snow but roads driveable.
-
Snowing heavily here, already a good covering here. We always do well in this part of Leicestershire!

Another heavy shower here, been on and off all morning. Decent amount on the ground now and looks like more to come.
