    I need to stop reading this thread - its actually scary for me, my OH cannot work in this weather, he is self employed and so far in a month he has worked 2 days, its not good, as much as I love snow when it affects your income its not great at all.

    My OH just spoke on the phone with one of his customers with Rayleigh and they said its just started there, here in Basildon it started very fine grainy snow at 8.20am I didnt think it was going to amount to much, we had bigger flakes on Sunday that didnt settle, however doing the school run the roads and pavements were covered, its not stopped yet and we now have everything white again grrrr go away snow!!!

    Evening all, just started snowing again in Basildon, had a couple of hours heavy snow this afternoon so we made the most of it and headed out in the garden and made an igloo, its 3.5ft wide by 2.5ft high at the mo, we ran out of daylight so will continue tomorrow with it lol.
