  1. Whilst I am appreciative of the normal contributors on this forum, would be nice if Steve Murr could pop in for a bit of reassurance and updating.
  2. There is a marked absence of respected posters on the Model thread, I noticed this from the pub run onwards. Would have thought they would have commented on the uncertainty especially at times like this. Seems very odd to me, I especially miss Steve Murrs input.
  3. Welcome back Yammy, wasn't the same without you, expect lots of updates.
  4. Have to say, hats off to Steve Murr, he got it right, especially for an improbable time of the year. Really enjoy following his posts.
  5. Cheers Steve Murr, really enjoyed reading your posts, look forward to following them again next winter
  6. Must admit, watching the radar for the last half hou (NW radar) the front certainly seems to have slowed down a lot
  7. Temp in Raynes Park Sw20 rising a bit, was -1 about an hour ago, now -0.5 - does that sound dodgy?
  8. Since it started snowing here in Raynes Park, the temp has fallen from 0.5 to 0.8
  9. First flakes in Raynes Park temp -0.5, dewpoint unknown Can now pour a drink
  10. First flakes in Raynes Park, temp -0.5 dewpoint not known Sorry wrong thread!
  11. Totally agree, weather presenters are really just "luvvies", Russel Grant would give just as good info if he was on.
  12. Netweather is based on the GFS. As SM has said on numerous occasions, ignore the 06z, it's unreliable.
  13. Morning all, cold. Trawling through all the posts overnight highlighted some low-life posting a lot of dis-information. Really look forward to SM's update on this this forum this morning. We badly need a bit of sanity here.
  14. I find the main problem is that some posters come out with a lot of technical jargon, sounds like they really know what they are talking about. Then Steve Murr jumps in and puts them straight, really good sport that.
  15. Thanks Chiono, didn't realise you could that. Grateful for your input.
  16. Your comment re V6 and NMM 850's underlay setting, could you explain how to use it and what the significance is Many thanks
