    WOW, Somerset just been included in BBC N24 weather report regarding sever weather. Some southern counties will get a FOOT of snow...this could be a real dumping!

    Anyone got an opinion on what direction and where that big radar echo in south wales is heading? (obviously want it rightover the top of me (Somerset)..:o ? Will it track more southwards? Ohh..lovely, the suns come out!

    It is...amazing!. Suppose if we get rain this evening then it will turn to slush? How long is it supposed to last, till 3 am?

    It's snowing heavy now and not sleet, settling on cars but slushy on the road, Still ice on the pavements so may lay on that.

    It's official.....SNOW (THICK FLAKES) in Ilminster, although very wet on the ground as flooding in places, not sure this will settle. But at least it is the real white stuff only dreams are made of. Hurrah for the gift of Winter.

    God it's cold dropped in Temp. It is heavy Sleet...heavy....please no more else the culverts won't cope. Desperately trying to turn to snow now...Old bob at no 23 swears its heavy snow, but I say just sleet
