    Yup showers will always be hit and miss. What will be interesting is when the atlantic tries to come in thats our best chance of significant snow!

    Yup amazing really 2010 we missed out and 2018 but today started poorly but its been great still snowing steadily and sticking as well! Thats 2 snowfall events this winter! No more complaining about the cov snow shield now

    Snow still falling here in coventry its dark now and the snow is settling nicely shame its not heavy but its been a ok day so far looking for the heavy stuff to hit later on

    Update on the blizzard of cov 21...its been snowing since 9am but its so heavy that its reached 1cms. Amazing another cm and might need a red warning

    To illustrate to incompetence of the beeb forecast the next 5 hours and right now should be heavy snow but other than a few flakes flying around theres nothinf

    The great blizzard of 21 in coventry has stopped dumping 0.5cms of heavy drifting snow! What a event!!

    Exactly the beast from the east is shocking for our neck of the woods its just really cold and that's it. I.e a few weeks ago we had 10cms of snow in a less cold set up as i always say it doesn't need to be a easterly and minus 50 for snow!

    Ok technically it is 'snowing' but if this 'snow' would carry on for the next 5 days we would be lucky to get 2cms out of this!

    Woke upto no snow and the forecast has changed to bone dry for cov and dry for the rest of the week. Never a fan of easterly winds. But to the guys in the east midlands enjoy!

    Its snowing for the last 45mins but very lightly not amounting to much. Going by the beeb and met o forecast they heavy showers won't reach cov until mid day monday

    The met have again changed the local forecast to 2 hours of heavy snow. And light snow thereafter still think its going to be hit and miss but some lucky places will easily hit 10cms plus by 2moz!

    Mate when i drove towards Leamington spa in 2010 i was gobsmacked and gutted at the same time!

    Absolute agony mate i remember 2010 and 2018 in coventry it was bone dry but down towards warwick they got plastered!

    Just looking through the SE thread and some people are getting a hammering of snow whilst some not far away are getting hardly anything. Thats what we should all look out for tomorrow some places with be buried come tuesday but some places might be cold and dry.
