    You would of thought With no hills east of us we would be best placed but in 2018 we missed out big time by 20 to 30 miles! Leicester is the place to be tomorrow!

    The met and beeb going for snow showers all day on monday and Tuesday here in coventry! Surely we should get a warning some time soon?

    Leicester eastwards should do very well in those streamers! Would say right upto the Eastern parts of the w midlands also should do very well!!

    Well the met office have coventry down for 12hrs of snow showers tomorrow and the beeb are forecasting nothing at all on monday. One thing I'm certain of if some places get stuck under the streamers they will hit the jack pot!. I think Derby Nottingham Leicester right upto cov will do very well tomorrow!

    Monday is looking very interesting for east mids and north mids showers will push way inland and the beeb and met have snow falling for most of the day here in cov on monday!

    This is what i have been banging on about for a few days this is the exactly the thing we need to happen for some significant snow forget the showers if this pulled off the midlands would be buried

    I been adamant for a few days that our best chance at snowfall is the atlantic trying to move in and bump into the cold air...but at the moment looks as though that will happen but with the mild air winning out

    Just seen the warnings. Great for the east midlands crap for the w midlands and the north of our region.

    Sat night into sunday is looking interesting now as the gfs is showing the same as icon. It could be rain to snow event with the east of our region doing very well could be a nice little suprise! The beeb are now showing a period of snow for coventry over 8 hours sat into Sunday!

    Things looking good for the north and east mids. For us w midlanders we need a good old classic atlantic attack and to stall right over us..can't see one yet but heres hoping!

    Well normally i would head into the mod thread and get some experienced opinion from the likes of steve m BFTP and the old time The in the sky but its loaded with nut jobs at the moment!

    If my memory serves me right then we had a similar set up in 91 had upto 25cms when the atlantic tried to get in haven't seen that much snow since

    Well after the recent model runs we all could be buried next week i might be eating a big humble pie!

    Easterly hardly ever delivers for us in the midlands! Well coventry we are to far inland for the heavy snow showers and once the atlantic comes in the mild will win!
