    Apparently, the latest charts are saying that its not going further north than expected. :o Bringing the snow line further south. will keep you informed of any developments Rain getting a little heavier as i type.still got 8 inches though

    Rain is starting to get a little heavier here it's becoming harder on the conservatory The house facing me had a full covering on the roof this morning, now i i can see patches :lol:

    Raining at the moment here mate. I was not expecting anything till mid-afternoon. albeit rain or snow., but its been steady light rain since 9'ish. looks like the front has come in way early than expected.

    While other places in Oxfordshire are seeing rain. elevation might be a help.

    Yep, i was not expecting any rain until mid afternoon. It's come way to early.. I've just checked the METO again, still saying heavy snow :o The '' Blizzards, whiteout'' conditions are not going to happen.

    You got to admit mate, today is very mild. only got about 8 inches left in the back garden :o From our local weather station in pitsford. Current temperature: 1.6 °C Maximum temperature*: 1.6 °C at 09:45 Minimum temperature*: -1.2 °C at 03:15 Wind Chill: 1.6 °C Relative humidity: 100 % Dew Point: 1.6 °C feels a lot warmer than 1.6 imo

    I still cannot understand why the meto STILL has this region down for heavy drifting snow. :o They need to open their windows and shove their heads out. It's the mildest day here since last Monday.if it gets any warmer ,I'll put my shorts on and sit in the garden.

    Good God !!! I'm not throwing my toys out of the pram, why should i? since Monday northamptonshire had had nearly 16 inches of snow fall, so is that throwing my toys out of the pram? like i said before, you are looking for the '' snow storm of the century'' which has now been downgraded for the midlands. sorry to upset you, but you will be very disappointed

    The basis of my claims...the LP is is going too far north.north of sheffield ..across to lancashire have the better chance you will wake up all excited and Tuesday morning expecting blizzards in fact you will wake up to torrential rain I'm afraid.

    I'm gobsmacked to be honest ... Here in Northamptonshire we always miss the worse of the weather, but this week, god knows why we are the worse hit. 16inches !!!!!!!!!!!! for god sake. Post is for Iand61
