From an outsider looking in and someone who knows nothing about weather (but enjoys it all and would like to learn more) , I have to say though, that when you look at some of the posts in that room it is quite sad actually... I cannot believe that grown ups can treat others as some people do just because they have a different opinion. I would be afraid to say anything as I would be afraid of what response i would get. Although saying that, I love watching the obviously experienced and informative members of the site and enjoy all their knowledge which they kindly share, just a shame that it is turning more and more into a boxing match.

Good Morning Everyone. Well sneaking in very quietly and not uttering a word in the Model Output Discussion (I find it too scary in their) it is all looking good this morning, which makes for a day. I spotted it all looked better for the south and south west (that is near enough) and for the whole uk generally. Fingers, toes, legs, arms, ears, nose and every else crossed.

Well if I would have know I would have brought my mondeo to you to clean as well. lol Going to renew my radar subscription this week just in case, gosh I really really really hope we get some as snow as would be nice to see out the winter in style.

I grew up with my dad always saying that when America got the snow, we got it alot after them. My friends husbands always says the same as well and he is in his 60's so lots of experience lol. It is OFFICIAL we are going to get it this time as well and it is just going to be in wales particularly south east wales and places that have volvos. (Positive Mental Attiitude)/

lol.... I can honestly say, that what I have witnessed on this site has left me completely in shock at times and in fits of laughter at other times. I cannot believe that people can get so angry, childish, nasty, heartbroken even, over the weather... I am sure it must be men, lol. I LOVE the snow and I am always hoping and watching everytime it gets mentioned that we may see it here, BUT like you, I cannot get my head around how people act when they get the news of milder weather. Surely their is always something to look forward to, for me, that thought of the Beer garden has wet my whistle for things to come and that I can walk my puppy without 8 layers of coats, hats, socks, thermals on. lol

looking in the model discussions it appears not to be looking very good for wales at all... it is depressing. I know it is greedy but I really really want all the excitement again of lamp post watching. It could all change though, so head up..
