    Just back from the saturday shop, weather throwing out practicaly everything ,wind ,hail ,rain, thunder, lightening !!!.

    Large cell to my south,mama observed, possable rumble of thunder or was it the wind ?...

    Wind realy picked up here in a bad squall, prob 40 to 50 mph and horizontal rain ..

    A bit dissapointing yes , but having recently purchased an officina stellare telescope i just want some clear frosty nights !! ?

    Either way out at 8 am tommorrow to double up the fly battons on the extension im working on at the moment !!.

    Remeber it well, built a big bonfire nearly 15 ft high, when lit the embers where going everywhere including on house roofs at one stage we thought best to call the fire brigade to wet down the buildings, fire lasted an hour at most because it was getting that much draught oh, fun times!!!..

    10 out of 10 for the met on this one, as it did turn out to be a beast,but some of the media coverage has quite frankly, been embarrassing !!!.

    Cant belive the bbc showing some guy with a fallen shrub in his garden , and a derailed train set !!!
