Temperature will not drop, not even a fraction of a degree - most annoying! It's been 3.6ºC here for hours!

Bit quiet he has been with all his ramping of the Snow we were going to get .
Is he got egg slapped on his face as he mooshed it up or is he waiting untill may for Snow .
I was wondering that as well! Not looking that good for snow for South Wales but you never know!

NMM as promised
NMM agrees with the wet start, and then also agrees with rain turning to snow over Northern and eastern parts, however precipitation at that time is quite small.
NMM goes with up to 20mm of rain, so quite a wet day in prospect.
Not much to get excited about for us in South Wales then really?

I've just been taking a look at the Met Office warnings. Yes it's true that South Wales has had the warning removed, but it would only take a relatively small SW correction of the Low to bring us back in business - some respected posters on the model thread are expecting this to happen over the course of today and tomorrow. So, don't give up hope just yet - the BBC are still stressing that there remains much uncertainty.

There is still time for a SW shift in the placing of the Low come Sunday into Monday. All is not lost yet as this is a very tricky one to call. Still time for things to improve IMO. There will be corrections from model runs between now and Sunday, we just have to hope they are in the right direction.

It's turning increasingly to snow here, temps are steadily falling.

Snowing on the Bwlch mountain at the moment but rain down here in the valley.
EDIT: Turning to sleet now in Nantymoel, but I'm not expecting much out of this.

I'm not very hopeful about this event on Sunday. It seems like it could be cold rain for us here in Wales as the snow risk has been shifted eastwards. GFS now falling into line with the other models too. We're still a few days out but I would be surprised to see a shift west now.

Showers really becoming organised now - just need these temperatures to start dropping. Saying that the temperature has dropped from 5.7º to 5º rather quickly, dewpoint holding at -5º but I suspect that is because of altitude and lower air pressure.

OK - HERE's The Warning Folks - Bad COLD and SNOWY weather approaching - next tuesday and onwards - very bad snowy drifting snow once again - hurricane type conditions also - Thundersnow - you name it it's coming - get prepped once again for a very bad time of it - feet of snow again with DRIFTING feet of snow - it's gonna be bad once again - and the METO are underestimating once again! - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED - wondering what the "Geniuses" at the Met Office are thinking?
I do love your ramping, but I really think this is rather OTT. We may get some snow next week but feet of snow? Surely not?

Throwing it down with rain here too, such a shame, but we've had a lot of snow here in the last week.

Surface temps remain cold here but looks like milder uppers have been mixed in. Light rain and a slow rise in surface temps, 1.3ºC up from 0.6ºC earlier. Looks like the last of the snow for a while.

I really think the Met Office should update their warnings now. This streamer that has developed is dumping a considerable amount of snow west of Cardiff!

Looks like that precipitation is going to move SW and miss us! You couldn't make it up! We have been so unlucky here!
