Heavy snow in bristol and bath right now.Wow and i almost gave up of seeing something.Th snow cut off date is 2 days away grrrrrrr

Quite heavy snow shower earlier on here lasted about 40 mins then turned bright and sunny for the rest of the day.Shower hit at 1.15 pm today.Grass & cars turned white.Then the sun come out and melted it all away.Cold though when shower hit temp dropped 3 c to 0.c then risen to 3 again afterwards

No but i been looking at the netweather 7 day forecast and its got snow over us for early as midnight tonight.Maybe its a load of rubish hmm

I like snow as much as anyone else if not more so.But always find once it gets to march its very unlikely/if it does it probably a snow/rain event.I dont think winter been that great apart from the 2 weeks of cold /snow at start of Jan other than that bit dissapointing mind u could be worse could be weeks of mild rain and wind.I think really i d just like weeks of cold weather with snow and ice on the ground for weeks on end .Maybe i should go live in Washington lol

Already frustrated now about the lack of snow left due to a thaw.Hopefully it wont be week after week of atlantic systems moving west to east like the norm.Today been a really annoying day watching all my 4 inches of snow melt at a rapid rate actually.Still i ll remain hopefull the cold will be back sooner rather than later

On another note does anyone else prefer winter rather than summer im starting to feel as though im the only one out there which do.I detest the summer with a passion but when winter comes round i feel like some big kid.I think ive always been the same even when i was a tot i liked the snow as the majority of pics taken when i was young were pics of me in snow with little wellys on lol.Its strange what odd looks u get when u tell people u prefer winter rather than summer

As we still had a lot from the week before it do look deep tbh.Cant believe its snowed heavy at the same time for 2 weeks in a row and yet going by netweather 7 day forecast its possible it could be 3x in a row next week

I think it ll go off by 10 or 11am here i dont see a thaw today though.Local forecast last night said no thaw till thursday at the least.Shall need to walk to work today i think gets quite dangerous cycling in this weather

Well, despite it having snowed constantly in Winterbourne for about 6 hrs, the top-up is only I'd say 2cm.

Very welcome but not sure its gonna get me out of work tomorrow - still - I'll wait and see.

Blimey id have thought u up in glouc would do better than us down here.We got 3 or 4 inches easily started at 5pm and after a tricky 3 mile mountain bike ride hope in the freezing cold there has been no let up.Im glad everyone seems to be getting something though.I think it ll keep snowing till 10 or 11am tomoz.By then should be pretty damn deep.Didnt think we d get all this and its bound to be chaos come time to go work later

Bath and north east somerset very heavy snow since 5pm no let up in it.Still going as i type.Roads bad again despite grit being put down dunno why they bother tbh.Anway id say 3/4 inches.Going to be fun getting to work in the morning me thinks on me bike.Shame its gunna be milder after the next few days.But Anguin did say no thaw until Friday

Good country file forecast looking good next week just need to get monday out the way then the fun will start.

Just been told that the severe weather in Germany could start to effect us next saturday.As winds pick up from the east pushing snow showers in from Berlin.They have already had almost 78in in most parts(see trickeys link).This will be the start of yet another cold spell which could see better snowfall than the current cold snap for most.I shall give more info when i get it.But this time next week when the easterleys with wind chil of -12 come in on the sunday remember u heard it from me first

As for what i see on the radar i think the bbc got some answering to do the big hype they hyped up for today and upto now nothing and the radar doesnt seem to be showing a great deal .
