wow we got snow forecast tonight like u i wernt expecting anything.Right time to view the radar

Evening folks another very cold day with ice and snow everywhere again had to walk 2 mile out of village again with me bike cause of ice.Currently -3 aint been above -2 all day.Even seen a few burst water pipes today cause of the ice i guess.Could anyone fill me in to what we can expect tonight tomorrow and sunday.I ave a gut feeling a lot of snow is coming not just sunday but next week as well I forgot to mention had a sleet shower earlier just before 2pm stayed cloudy rest of the day after about 10 mins of sunshine which didnt do anything to the snow/ice cover.Cloud now breaking infact total clear sky with slush refreezing on the road Exciting times ahead

Dont like the summer nor the heat u can keep it

Perhaps we can all celebrate and drink milk as everyone buying it

Oh im intrigued now lol Anyways im off early start tomorrow looking forward to another long walk pushing me bike through the ice hooray lol Dont half tire u out coming back up hill exhausted by the time i reach the top.Main roads are ok just the b roads like ice rinks.

I think people check on elderly neighbours outta instinct anyway they dont need to be told.But does no harm in reminding people.We check on elderly neighbours even when the weathers ok anyway.And do there shopping if they need anything from shops

but I'm worrying about the lessons the children are missing and the fact we will have to catch up. Im not having a go or nothing but surely its not for you to worry about that.I mean the kids aint gunna worry nor are there parents.We brits do worry about some odd things which u could say dont do no harm.I mean whats a few days off school anyway. bet the kids aint lol

Best thing to do is not bother sweeping the snow away from you drive me thinks.Lost count of the amount of times i almost went over after having to walk down hill with me bike.Not slipping on the snow itself but people who have gritted/put salt down on there drive only for it to refreeze the next night.Should nt be allowed.And also 4x 4 drivers who drive fast covering u in melted slush as they go by.No considertion to little me on my mountain bike at all.Anyway rant over currently -5 now its a lot colder than last night god knows what its going to get to by the morning

watch out for sunday indeed when a armegeddon type event is gunna appen my top tip is to rush to the shop and panic buy milk bread etc to see u through:cold: its only what everyone else is doing.Getting harder and harder to buy milk lately shop sold out cant get any lol

Anguin saying snow sunday and monday could be quite bad but he didnt give any info on how much yet Till then very cold could be lowest temps for 20+ years today colder than last night and will be a bit cloudier than today in some parts temp staying below freezing in most parts

I think weather forecasters and newreaders put kiss of death on the cold spell when they start saying stuff like " cold spell to last till the end of the month" on the tv .Ok so it might but always seems like the following week everything changes and it gets a little warme.I dont think it ll get warmer anytime soon another week at least.After that who knows but i do think we shall see a lot more snow yet.I also think there will be a lot of snow just before it turns warmer like it usually do.Whenever it does turn warmer .Then it ll prob be wet n windy for weeks on end then and that ll be winter over gees im so negative tonight lol

I dont think i ever seen temps as low as -9 let alone a -10.Looks like another 3 mile walk to work with me pushin me mountain bike again tomorrow.Then another 3 mile trip back for dinner and back again.Followed by another 3 mile uphill walk coming home at 5pm.God no wonder im knackered.Walking in the snow really knackers u out and yet im pretty fit as well Only annoying thing is i really wish these 4x4 drivers would stop driving so fast through the slush .I got a right soakin earlier and got really wound up cus of it

Thanks very much Its always nice to know that the snow will stick around for a few days though.Already looking towards sunday/monday event already.Very tired today after walking 6 mile to work and home again on my mountain bike this morning was a real struggle.Only to then have to shovel deep snow off the forecourt at work took hrs lol

I know its early days but i heard rumour its going to go mild next week
