  1. Oh the irony of it all – so last night we had some snow, a few showers which left a covering on grass and cars but mostly melted or turned to slush on the roads. Some places were clear altogether, others had no more than a few mm. This morning it took me two hours to drive about 10 miles due to people getting stuck in this thin layer of slush. Ok a few hills but this is flat-as-a-pancake Norfolk and with careful driving all roads were passable. I’ve got through the traffic quicker with a thick layer of snow – maybe cars grip better in fresh snow as opposed to slush. Anyway still no real snowfall to talk about in Norwich, not as much as was forecast anyway.

  2. the latest on my met office app gives heavy rain shower for norwich Sunday, but still a yellow warning for snow puzzled

I've heard that the BBC app doesn't use that good a quality data so take what it says with a pinch of salt - I've had lovely sunny days when the app was saying I should be building an ark and ordering animals into it two by two!

  3. Hmm. BBC weather app shows 9c max for me Wednesday. Thursday looks colder but dry and then the cold continues but I'm concerned that PPN will be nowt so no snow in Norwich. We often are on that cusp of two far inland to miss costal showers but not inland enough for real cold temps. Will be interesting few days.... or weeks if the cold sticks around.
