  1. A lot of these charts I keep viewing seem to show Norfolk missing out on the snow for the most part...am I reading them right or am i just destined to miss the snow?

Oh aye, par for the course! Couple of years ago we were the only green bit in a country blanketed by snow. The satellite picture was amazing to see.

Anyway tonight we have 1c and rain in Norwich.... will be interesting if it freezes later.

  2. OMG not again — just on the eastern edge of where it goes from dark pink to light pink. I know this of old — watching the dark pink splodges drift by 3 miles away. I think I'd rather get nothing at all with no hope of anything.

We had this in Norwich a couple of years ago when the press published that lovely picture of the UK, no cloud cover and just white snow for 99%......except the top right hand corner of east anglia where Norwich is, which was green. Amazing that we had a dusting when lots of the UK were buried under the stuff. I always think Norwich is a funny place for snow - sometimes too far inland for coastal snow, sometimes too far east for inland snow. Ah lets see what the next few days brings!

  3. Well last nights flakes amounted to nowt, well I lie - there may be a flake left on the lawn somewhere! However the cold weather is laying a nice surface for snow to stick to, should we get some in Norfolk over the next few days - I always worry when temps have been mild and then a sudden cold snap, that the top layer of the ground doesn't have time to cool and allow snow to lay, but at the moment even during the day we are only just above freezing so all good.

Anyone want to stick their necks out and guess at what Norwich would see, snow wise, over the next few days?
