Alright Guys, I managed to get my hands on a new EOS 450d for £300 seemed like a popular camera amoung you guys, so swapping all my nikon kit out for Canon gear. What do you guys recommend in terms of filters, triggers/ shutter releases, lenses etc? It comes with the 18-55 IS kit lens. I have had a look at some wide angle lenses but there not cheap so maybe a telephoto is worth buying incase that Tornado is far far away! 24 days to go for me

Hotel is Booked Lift pretty much sorted Ready for a messy weekend?!?! Im staying at the city inn, nice and central. Got it for £65 + brekkie. Internet said £115 but phoned them up and they offered me that, was cheaper than the IBIS! Cu all in a few days

Flight is Booked for Tour 2 Arrive - 08/05/10 15:40 Depart - 19/05/10 17:35 With all the banter about AA being rubbish I have gone with BA, booked with STA travel got a youth fare (under 26) at £420 includin all the extra flight cancellation insurance etc. Anyone else on this flight? Jo, yep thats the Flip Video Camera. They are really rugged and simple to use and shoot in HD. I broke my digi slr kit lens on NYE so have to buy a new one..damn it but going for one with Vibration reduction. Cant afford a wide angle one yet! Guys Watched the first episode of the new season of storm chasers last night, is it wrong to be excited 6 months before the trip!!! Was also wondering what the best lens for a digi slr for taking good shots with, only got the kit lens that came with my nikon d40 but wanna try and get some really good shots on tour 2! Dissin the dominator, good stuff!

Hi Guys I took this pic a few weeks ago when I was in France, this cloud came across this field and hung very low just before a huge storm rolled through (top pic), it could just be the perspective but it would be great to get your insight into whats going on. Hey Guys Thought you might like this vid, was taken when I flew out of Lagos, Nigeria straight though a storm, gets pretty interesting just after 2mins and then when flying out of the storm see some fork lightning streaking by at 4:47, would be great to get your thoughts on it!

Hey Guys Great to see the tours filling up so fast, I am glad I booked when I did. I am on Tour 2 and this will be my first trip to the states to chase, just got back from trying to snap a storm that came over South West London, hope everyone else is enjoying the great weather in the UK today! :huh:
