Push notifications have stopped working on my Samsung browser. If I got to the settings and click enable in this browser, it asks me twice if I would like to allow them. I click allow both times, it says in green that they are enabled, but when I refresh the page, it's showing 'enable in browser' again.

Desktop notifications have stopped working too, both forum and radar.

Must be an issue with the push server?

The forum and radar are entirely separate set ups. Have you double checked your browser permissions? It may be worth resetting them to 'ask for permission' (or similar) to ensure they're lined up.

All permissions are good. Everything was fine 24 hours prior.

Both desktop and phone are not getting the notifications.

They aren't coming through on Edge either.

I can see in the logs for the radar that we're sending them to 3 devices/browsers on your account and they're all being sent without any errors coming back. As it's the forum and radar you're not getting them from, it is most likely that it's something on your side, as the two are completely separate.

It just doesn't make sense that they were all working yesterday morning, then they all suddenly stopped. I haven't changed anything

I've just tested web push notifications on a testing site and they come through fine

It doesn't make much sense that they'd suddenly stop, but nothing has been changed in that respect on either the community or the radar since yesterday either. And as I say they are entirely different systems - the community is hosted and managed by Invision themselves on their servers (Amazon cloud based) and the radar is on our servers (Google cloud based).

Desktops are now working, but not mobile.

Push will not enable. Each time I enable it, it asks me twice if I would like notifications. I click allow on both, refresh, and it asks me if I want to enable notifications again.

It's only happening with Netweather though. Other sites work fine.

Are you just talking the community at this point, or on the radar too?

The community at the moment. I haven't had any radar notifications since yesterday.

Ok, if you have the PWA installed for the community, the notification permissions will be in that under app settings. If you're just using it on web, it'll be in the browser settings. First port of call, I think would be to double check and potentially reset those, so it can ask again and re-set them.

Beyond that, it could be a bug within the community, potentially. I've seen the odd one mentioned on their community over recent months, so I can raise a ticket with them and ask the question, assuming your permissions are all set etc.

If you're using the community in the browser, I'd probably also recommend clearing cookies/cache for the site and logging back in again, just to see if it's that.

Desktop notifications are working for the forum now. Nothing from the radar

As for my phone, I have tried everything and nothing fixes it. I have no idea why they've stopped. The browser hasn't updated or changed from yesterday morning.

All notification settings are enabled and nothing is blocked.

In terms of the radar, all I can see is that you are being sent notifications and that there are no errors reported. It's very difficult to diagnose beyond that, unfortunately.
