Overcast with ocnl rain, 2.0 mm since midnight, also rather breezy overnight a max of 23 mph,

current low is 7.9 C

Update to cover for the weather on the trough/front, brief heavy rain with T falling to 4.8 C now up to 6.2 C with rainfall on 6.8 mm; more rain upwind looking at the radar and quite breezy

A dry start to last night but showers arrived by midnight and continued into the early hours. A short spell of heavy rain and small hail either side of 0600 g.m.t but this has given way to sunny intervals and brief showers of rain and small hail since 0730 g.m.t.

Showery rain overnight. Short heavy squally shower of rain and hail here around 07:25GMT. A clearance arrived just after mid morning, sunny spells, very windy and feeling cold.
