1cm of fresh snow has fallen here sometime between 0315 and 0700.

Temp' is already up to 1.8c which is almost equal to the max' yesterday so snow survival does not look likely,

No snow at 6.30am. Snowed v.heavily from 6.35 to 8.00 - at least 2" settled v fast and total whiteout at times. Drifting up to 8" against south facing fences and walls. Now stopped. Temps rising rapidly. Most snow I've seen in such a short time for many years. Think that's it for now

Started snowing heavily here from 7am, big thick flakes and settling straight away on hard frozen ground, media forecasts for rest of the day all contradicting themselves- teletext eg says rain all day from am! Fingers crossed no rain!

Woke up to a slight dusting here, but it is falling as rain now, so I expect what little there is to melt within the next hour or so.

Well what a amazing event the snow was here this morning, woke up to moderate snowfall which last all of 30 mins and gave a slight covering, then turned into snizzle. Now we have the usual MK weather, bucket loads of drizzly rain. Perhaps if you live higher up you might see some worth while snowfall, but I think most peeps are going to be dissapointed as I have this morning :D:):)
