FLASH WEATHER ALERT

Category: Level 3 Warning

Weather type: Thunderstorms and Heavy Rain

Affecting: Wales

Time and Date Valid For: 11.30 - 21:00 Monday 02nd May 2005.

Time Of Issue: 11.30 - Monday 02nd May 2005.

An area of heavy, thundery rain and showers is now pushing north across Wales in association with a north moving north/northeastwards across the country.

This is a squall line with associated gusty winds bringing the risk of thunderstorms and hail, and up to an inch of rainfall is possible in the worst affected areas in a short period of time.

Extra care should be taken.

Confidence Level: 90%
