Was fine and warm at around midday today and went to the beach to catch some waves but it soon clouded over and a breeze started up, the waves were superb Anyway, has stayed overcast since then, max 23.5c, now 20.3c

Quite a sticky night last night with a minimum temperature of 15.2c. Today has started cloudy but there are signs that the cloudcover may break up to see some sunshine, currently 18.3c

does that mean we are unlikely to see a return to high pressure? September is usually a pretty good month here weather wise. I remember last year we had high 20's in September.

Yeah we will have more high pressure... but it will mean frosty, cold nights and warmish, sometimes sunny days. Things are definetely different now we're approaching September!
