Well today we have had sunshine/showers and the showers have been quite heavy.

Also the winds have been really warm in the sunshine.

After a very mild night which didnt see the temperature drop below 11.8°C the morning started off sunny with a strong southerly breeze. After midday the cloud began to build which made the sunshine more hazy and gave a few light showers late in the afternoon. These showers died out in the evening to leave clear skies which are allowing the temperature to drop. The most noteworthy aspect of today is how warm it got, with 21.5°C reached in the afternoon. It did feel cool at times in the strong wind though. The combination of a mild night and warm day have increased my May average so that it now stands just half a degree below the 1971-2000 value.
