A wonderful day. It did start off quite cloudy with hazy sunshine but eventually the sunshine burned away the cloud to leave the rest of the day with clear skies. After the coldest June night on my records, the day was just slightly below average. Despite this, it felt very pleasant with a light breeze. As well as the minimum temperature being the lowest on record, the pressure stayed at 1036mb all day, also a record for June here. The run of below average days is starting to take its toll on the average temperature, although I have no doubt it will recover later in the month.
