Thunderstorms and torrential downpours are now developing across Wales and some parts of England and these will continue to develop and become more widespread and possibly severe as time goes on, frequent lightning is likely to be the main threat but large hail and strong gusty winds are also possible. These storms have the potential to become severe and please do everything you can to avoid being outside and unprotected while a storm is in progress.
