Some much needed rain fell here last night as some quite large puddles are visible. The skies are now clearing and I'm hoping for a nice and sunny day, but it looks as though more rain will come from the west unless it weakens.

Considerably fresher and breezy today, quite sunny now though with showery looking skies heading away to the E. Didn't have any showers here but some dark clouds came close. 17c at present.

Sunshine and Showers skies at present here in Central London. Just missed a quite heavy looking shower which brushed to the North-West of London, looks like they are intensifing as they head east.

The ground and everything starts steaming off in to thermals when they pass and the sun comes back out, Not something I see everyday.

Looking at the lightning charts everyhting kicked off north of the M4 this afternoon. No good for those of us 20+ miles away! It was sunny all afternoon here although could see some massive towers in the distance looking like almighty mountain ranges.

Now a cool clear evening and 11c after max of 18c.

Now at the end of the day I wanna show you some pics I took during the day. Day started sunny, than tighnycirrocumulus, than altocumulus, finaly stratocumulus and totaly cloudy at the end of the day. But without rain.

Yes I like the pics of clouds also, few days ago I recorded some cirrus clouds, they can be specacular, show you late on. But cumulonimbus is the most beautiful cloud. Now when summer is diening here it is hard to cath it.
