Generally cold and damp here today, a maximum of just 15ºc in July is quite something :)

After a grey day, it looks as though blue sky is moving in from the south and west.

Report for Tuesday 5th July 2005, Readings taken at 23:50.

It started off mostly cloudy with occasional sunny spells, which continued into the afternoon until it became totally overcast and misty. Around 5pm saw the arrival of the rain, which was very heavy indeed, dropping almost half an inch until it stopped 5 hours later. At the moment it is cool, cloudy but dry, with a moderate south-easterly wind. Despite most of the day being below 16°C, one of the longer sunny spells around midday allowed the temperature to reach 21.1°C, around average for the time of year. This evening has definitely felt chilly though and the last 4 days have seen 46% of the expected July rainfall.

Current Temp: 13.8°C

Max Temp: 21.1°C (at 13:03)

Min Temp: 10.8°C (at 05:05)

Humidity: 90%

Min Humidity: 52% (at 12:09)

Pressure: 1002.1hPa (Falling)

Dewpoint: 12.2°C

Wind: SSE (9mph)

Rain Today: 11.9mm

My July average currently stands at 18.0°C (+1.5°C Above the 1971-2000 average).

Being a local bank holiday (Tynwald day) meant it was bound to be horrible, and it obliged.

Torrential rain from mid morning until about 4pm, then a little brightness but rail late again. A bit breezy.
