There are some patchy dark clouds coming down from the north west. Around 15miles away they are unbroken and I wonder if these will develop into CB clouds.

Report for Monday 18th July 2005, Readings taken at 23:55.

A sunny start gave way later to much thicker cloud turning the sunshine hazy. This continued to build into the afternoon until early evening when a heavy shower passed over. This was fairly short-lived however and it brightened up again soon after, leaving the rest of the evening sunny and dry. It was another warm day with a maximum temperature of 25.4°C which felt pleasant in a moderate north-westerly breeze. The humidity today has also been fairly low, only rising past the 50% mark again by mid-evening. The high maxima was accompanied by a high minima, meaning my July average is now approaching 19°C, making it at the present moment my hottest July ever. This is likely to drop in the next few days though.

Current Temp: 16.5°C

Max Temp: 25.4°C (at 15:06)

Min Temp: 14.9°C (at 05:55)

Humidity: 65%

Min Humidity: 45% (at 13:16)

Pressure: 1005.6hPa (Rising)

Dewpoint: 9.9°C

Wind: WNW (8mph)

Rain Today: 1.6mm

My July average currently stands at 18.8°C (+2.3°C Above the 1971-2000 average).
