Lightning detector showing activity since 0600 hrs sky dark to the south very distant thunder heard, too distant to see any lightning. Sun shine now hazy.

Storm has not moved nearer since first thunder heard at 0600.

A very heavy shower at the moment in Cleethorpes, very humid, very distant rumble of thunder......from the Lincoln/wolds direction.

The wind did get up about an hour ago, but it seems to have died down now.

Big heavy black clouds now coming down from the North West.

These seem to have scudded right by me here. Now have clearing skies
