Snow and a possible Polar Low

Locations: Ground above 2,000ft for the northern half of Scotland from about 1500z Tuesday

Our latest charts show that a Polar Low may develop to the north west of Scotland during tomorrow afternoon. This will then track south east near to the north east coast of Scotland.
Ground above about 2,000ft north of the Forth-Clyde valley could be affected and in the more northern areas snow could fall to about 1,000 ft.
Totals of 5cm or so are possible.
This is a Warning and will be updated to an Alert during tomorrow if the situation warrants it.
