Derek Brockway - 10th October 2006

Apology - First admitted that Today was much better than forecast with Temps reaching 20c in Newport and Barmouth.

Weather Watch - Heavy Rain with Local Flooding (Next 24 Hrs)

Tonight – An active cold front is pushing into the west bringing some heavy rain to western parts, but with some thunder possible, drier in the east, very mild temps 14-15c, winds 15mph SE.

Tomorrow - Dry to start in the North East but heavy rain elsewhere with thunder in places the afternoon will see the rain pushing NE and it should turn drier in the SW with some sun in Pembrokeshire late afternoon, temps 15-17c, turning fresher behind the cold front, winds moderate SE.

Summary - Temps today were 16-18c, some 4c above average. the Weekend will be generally dry and mild.

Tonight – An Cloudy night over most spots with mist and fog developing widely inland, 3sescpillay in mid wales and in the east, temps 11-15c, with light winds.

Tomorrow - Some mist and fog tomorrow more so towards the English border, during the day the fog will lift with some sunny intervals developing, with the best of these towards the west and south west, temps 16-17c, with a light SE breeze.

Weekend - mainly dry and bright with decent Sunny spells temps around 16-18c.

Tonight – Any remaining rain pushing away to the North, cloudy mainly with mist and fog especially in S and E Wales, temps 10-13c

Tomorrow - A cloudy start over most of wales with some mist and fog over eastern sports, during the day this will clear with some brighter spells in the far west and the odd shower in the East, temps 15-18c, winds SE mainly light

Rain pushing in tomorrow night from the south, temps 12-15c.

Thursday - 17c Showers

Friday 16c Showers

Saturday 16c Sunny Intervals

Summary- Warm winds from the South, with temps reaching 19c in Llangefni, above the normal 13c.

Tonight - Mild and Dry to start, but rain will spread in to most parts after midnight, showery in nature but with some heavy bursts. Temps 11-14c with moderate E to SE winds.

Tomorrow - The overnight rain will continue for most places in the morning, temps 14-15c.

The rain will start to clear away in the afternoon, with sunshine and showers pushing up from the South, temps 15-17c, with a 20mph SE breeze.

Tomorrow Night will see a mix of sunshine and showers, temps 9-12c.

Summary- Tomorrow, Some Sunshine and Mostly Dry

Tonight - Rain pushing in to Southern parts tonight with some heavy bursts in places, drier in the north, the rain will also tend to push away to the south later, temps 7-11c.

Tomorrow - Dry in most places but with some lingering rain and dampness in the south which will soon clear away, brighter in North Wales. It will brighten up generally across wales in the afternoon, but with the odd showers over North Wales in NW winds, temps 13-14c.

Tomorrow Night - Dry and clear in north wales with the odd touch of ground frost, rain edging into the south later.

Summary- Turning Wet and Windy

Tonight - Clear tonight, with cloud and rain in the south pushing North, but remaining dry in the far north, temps 3-8c, winds S/SE

Tomorrow - Damp in the far North, A washout elsewhere, and the washout conditions will spread to all parts later, temps 12-15 with a 20mph easterly breeze making it feel decidedly cold.

Tomorrow Night - Rain clearing overnight, with hill fog following on behind, temps 10-14c so a mild night.

Thursday - A mix of sunshine and showers, remaining on the windy side.

Summary- Dry and Chilly with a ground frost

Tonight - Clear over most places tonight, but with a little moue cloud in the north, temps 4-7c with a little ground frost in sheltered spots, winds light westerly.

Tomorrow - Sunny in the SE with more cloud over the rest of Wales, turning cloudier later with patchy rain spreading east, a damp afternoon, with some hill mist and fog, temps 13-14c, winds light west or south westerly.

Saturday - Wet with some hill fog, temps 12-15c

Sunday 15c sunny intervals

Monday 15c rain

Summary- Some Rain then Brighter Sunday

Tonight - Cloudy generally tonight with a little mist and drizzle, Temps 10-13c with a SW breeze.

Tomorrow - Cloudy with outbreaks of patchy rain especially in the South and west, driest in the sheltered North East of Wales, temps 14-16c with a 12mph SW breeze.

Tomorrow Night - More rain for much of wales

Sunday A ridge of high pressure will give sunny spells for most places with light winds, Temps 12-15c

Summary- Turning Colder with night Frosts

Tonight - Mild with a little mist and drizzle towards the South West and a little rain in the north, turning milder later, temps 8-11c.

Tomorrow - A mix of sunny spells and cloud to start with more cloud edging down from the NW with a little rain, but then turning brighter later in the afternoon, temps 12-14c with a brisk NW wind, 14c also forecasted for Gowerton.

Outlook - Turning Clear by night and sunny by day, max temps around 9-12, min close to freezing or below.

Tonight - High pressure dominating to give a clear night with a widespread frost, temps ranging from -7 to +2c.

Tomorrow - A Cold and frosty start but a widely sunny day, temps 8-10c with light winds

Summary- A little rain and breezier

Tonight - Some mist and fog in the south, cloudier elsewhere, with some light rain in the west later, temps 3-8c, winds 15mph in the North west

Tomorrow - Some low cloud and drizzle to start with some damp weather for. Later on a cold front will push south bringing some showery rain, turning brighter in the North later, temps 12-15c, westerly winds 15mph.

Tomorrow night - clear 0-5c.

Thursday - turning settled with high pressure, sunny 10-12c.

Friday - 12c, cloudy

Saturday - 15c, Rain

Summary-Mostly Fine with light winds tomorrow. A cold front is clearing southern areas tonight, with a ridge of high pressure building in from the SW for tomorrow.

Tonight - Rain pushing south, drier later, turning clear with a few frost patches inland, temps 0-4c.

Tomorrow - Sunny in most spots, perhaps a little more cloud in NE areas, temps 10-12c, with light NW winds.

Tomorrow night - clear -3 to 5c, with a frost inland, especially in East Wales.

Friday - Dry in most place, mainly cloudy though, with the best of brightness in the southeast, temps 11-14c, with moderate southerly winds.

Saturday - 15c, Showers

Sunday - 11c, Sunny Intervals

Tonight - Damp in North Wales to start, but drier in the south, turning wet in North wales later, temps 9-12c in a moderate west wind.

Tomorrow - A wet day with rain over most areas, temps 11-14c, with 10mph west winds.

Wednesday - Turning wet and windy, temps 14-17c.

Tonight - A Warm front pushing North over Wales will bring some heavy rain to many areas tonight, however in may remain dry in the far North of Wales. Temps 9-12c with 10mph SW winds.

Tomorrow - Rain will start over Wales but will clear to the north by Midday only for another frontal band of to edge up from the south with further heavy rain possible, temps 15-18c, winds 20mph, but gusting to 50-60mph around some coasts. The mild weather caused by Southerly winds within a warm sector.

A cold front will cools things down as it edges eastwards across the UK on Thursday

Wednesday - 14c rain, 9c Cloudy

Thursday - 12c Showers, 6c showers

Friday - 10c Showers, 4c clear spells

Saturday - 9c Sunny intervals, 3c clear spells

Summary - Very Windy tonight, with 45mph currently being recorded, and gusts up to 65mph are possible.

Tonight - The first part of the night will see some rain, although this will clear away to the north, dry and cloudy after midnight, temps 8-9c.

Tomorrow - Feeling fresher with a brisk wind but not too bad as some sunny spells develop later, temps 10-11c, winds 15mph from the SW.

Summary - It ended up being Very Windy last night as Forecast with 62mph recorded in Pembrey, cooler with showers tomorrow.

Tonight - Showers in the west tonight, temps 7-9c with a 10mph southerly wind with some thunder possible.

Tomorrow - Showers to start tomorrow, but turning drier later but with some rain in the SE later, temps 9-12c, winds 15mph from the SW.

Saturday - 7c Showers some wintry over the hills

Sunday - 10c Sunny intervals

Summary - More rain on the way tomorrow

Tonight - Showery in the north tonight, clearer in the south, with a ground frost in some inland areas, temps 1-5c

Tomorrow - Damp to start in the South west and rain will spread over much of Wales during the day, some of it patchy and turning drizzly towards the south late as the main band pushes away, temps 7-12c, winds 20mph form the west.

Thursday - A deep area of low pressure will push up from the SW during Wednesday night bringing some heavy rain for the early part of Thursday followed by some showers, temps around 11c, and some strong winds with 25mph being the mean speed, with gales possible.

Summary - Turning Wet and Windy, a deep area of low pressure centred over Northern Ireland is set to being some strong winds and some heavy rain to many areas.

Tonight - Heavy rain spreading in form the southwest for most parts temps 8-10c, 25mph winds from the South West.

Tomorrow - The rain will quickly move away early on in the morning, with brighter weather following on behind but with heavy showers, the showers could effect most areas more so in the south and west, temps 11-12c, winds reaching 30mph, with gales on exposed hills and coasts.

Friday - Further rain spreading across Wales, temps 10-12c with 20mph winds.

Summary Heavy rain tonight with local flooding

Tonight - Rain will spread across all of Wales but perhaps turning a little drier in the west later, temps 7-9 with gale force SW winds.

Tomorrow - Wet in the SE to start tomorrow but drier in the rest of Wales but rather cloudy to start the day, the afternoon will see the rain promptly move away but also to be replaced with further heavy and blistery showers, in between the downpours there will be some sunny spells, it may be drier though in North Wales, temp s1-123c.

It will be breezy with gales over the North and over the west coast.

Sunday - Further showers to start the day Sunday but it may turn drier for the afternoon, and less windy, temps 10-13c.

SEVERE WEATHER WARNING Heavy rain tonight with local flooding for South Wales

Tonight - Heavy Rain in South Wales this evening will extend into all of wales ovrenight, temps 9-11c, winds 20mph SW.

Tomorrow - Wet in places to start, but tending to dry up from the south, although further shweors are set to push in from the west later, temps 11-12c, with moderate or fresh SW winds.

Tonight - Early showers tending to die out, more cloud pushing in from the west later. Temps 3-7c with a touch of ground frost likely inland in Eastern Wales.

Tomorrow - A damp day to start in the west and this spreading to many other parts with some showers at times, temps 11-13c with brisk S to SW winds.

Thursday - Rain spreading in from the West, with gales in W and NW parts, Temps 12-13c, with rain will spread across all parts during Thursday night.

Friday - Rain pushing away and turning drier, temps 13c

Summary - Rain moving East, Strong winds

Tonight - A cold front is moving East across England and Wales tonight and into tomorrow. This will edge heavy rain over much of Wales tonight, perhaps remaining dry in the far NE and turning drier in the far SW later, temps 8-11c, and windy from the SW.

Tomorrow - An improving picture with drier weather spreading to much of Wales with some decent sunny intervals developing, perhaps another band of showery rain edging into the far west for evening, temps 12-13c, moderate SW winds.

Saturday - Sunny/sunny intervals 10-12c, winds 15-20ph SW, with more rain and Gales spreading across Wales overnight.

Sunday - Showery, temps 9-13c.
