Clear and cold in Lancaster. We had a hail shower at 4pm which was certainly wintry in nature with sleety stuff mixed in, I'm not sure if the 'sleet' was a mix of rain and melting snow, or rain and melting hail.

today max of 5C now dropped too 2,7C .... it rained all the day and snowed till 600m ... now its just few clouds but very cold outside

Currently 3 celsius . I wouldnt at all be surprised if the south east sees some sleet or snow overnight . The temperature will obviously drop a bit more overnight .
