After a dull misty morning, the sun came out about 1130 and the stratus cloud cleared to give us an hour and a half of bright sunshine. The wind had freshened slightly and veered from an easterly to a southerly direction. However, at 1400 complete stratus cloud cover again. Wind still from the south, with an average 10 min speed of 5 mph.

Overall, another dull day, but there were a few short sunny spells early on, the first in 12 days. By midday it became totally overcast and misty, which has continued into the evening, remaining mild as a result. Temperatures today were around average, though the minima was mild for the time of year due to a cloudy night.
