Blimy that sun was strong today. Great lunch in Ashprinton village at the pub (a few miles outside Totnes). I'd recommend it to anyone holidaying down here. Lovely walk down to the River dart. Counted 50 different wild plants on the way!

Currently, a cool and a nifty breeze, blowing at a steady force 4. About 11C, but feeling cooler in the wind. The lovely cumulus of the daytime are subsiding now. One fleece weather. 2 if you are a southern softie!

Heavy showers with hailstones here today. Haven't seen so much hail fall in May since May 1986!

Current Temp: 10C.

Sun was strong when it was out!!

Have been on Steam Train trip round the river Dart in the past - lovely route! B)

There will be a fairly widespread frost in Northern England and in lowland Scotland tonight and especially tomorrow. It's not unusual (to be loved by.....) but waking up to a blanket of white at the end of May will be odd! I wonder how far South the frost will get?

Lol, cold enough to light a fire. Drove around Salisbury Plain this afternoon, watching the sky. Some sunshine, but mostly big clouds. Caught torrential rain for a few mins on the edge of a good one on the way back, about 10 miles southish of here around 5?
