Max temp today was 27.7C, higher as usual than the Doncaster Airport figure.

My June mean is 17.6C, the highest since I started, from 1997, and the highest here or at Finningley with records back to 1942. The Finningley record was 16.9C in 1960.

June has ended on a searing note with a hot and mostly sunny day, the sun was hazy at times, max temp 28c. Temp now 23c and it's going to be a perfect night for star watching.
