Davis Vantage Pro 2

Hey,

I have found the davis pro2 wireless for around £300 from the US including shipping (not customs). Although it is the US version. I was wondering if anybody knew what was wrong with the frequency/channel it sent data by. I remember somehting about it being a diferent channel to the UK version however can you change it? is it illegal?

The police are hardly going to come around and arrest me for it though... so it might be worth the risk.

I don't know - it's something that's readily checkable as it's a case of scanning the area for rogue signals. It's taken quite seriously as people with illegal transmitters can affect emergency service radios etc.

I know nothing about them, so I'd contact them before buying, but these people sell the UK versions for $595 including shipping from the USA.
