What a very frustrating but ironically amusing day here. The sky was quite clear until just before sunrise and cleared to some extent after 16.00. In between it was dull, breezy and wet at times. No heavy rain, just showery light stuff.

Max of 13c at some stage although feeling cooler.

Temp now 9c and partly cloudy.

A few sunny intervals before 1030, after that it was cloudy with moderate rain arriving by 1230 and continuing until around 1500. The cloud base lowered to around 200m early this afternoon so we've been sitting in thick fog since then.

Temp' is now 5.5c, max' today 5.6c

Just tipped a handfull of mm's away from earlier that I found in the rain gauge. Annoyingly, it blew over the other day, spilling it's contents. I think I heard it go.
