At last a sunny day and a cold day, gentle NW breeze and max 7c.

Only cloud today was some patchy fair weather Cumulus for a few hours.

First proper frost of the year this morning -0.5C, ice on all the puddles and the fields a pleasure to walk over at 8.00am with the surface dry and crunchy. A big change from all the rain and mud of the past week!

After a grounf frost early this morning, the day was clear with unbroken sunshine, with a max of 7c, soon cooled down after dark, the temperature fell quickly to 0.8c around eight pm but has started rising again recently as the wind as picked up from the sw.
