Cyclone Jaya

Cyclone Jaya is heading westwards, once again towards Madagascar. It is strengthening very quickly under very favourable conditions and it also helps that it is a small cyclone so more rapid intensification is expected over the coming days. Curently a cat 1 cyclone.

Looks beautiful, but unless a recurve to the south occurs, it could end up being very dangerous. At present, a slight curve to the northwest is forecast to target northern Madagascar.
