Great pictures there paul, particularly well-shot the one with the wind-pump. What's this with roadside dogs? Remember that Alsation in Kansas that was sniffing around our car when we stopped at the stop-go sign where they were reparing the downed powerlines? Ian's mutt looks friendlier there though, you could have fit him in the back of the car .

This dog was so friendly Ian fed him a Banana but he passed, probably like all the other Americans (Hates Fruit) we had an Interesting Situation near Dalhart the other day, 2 Deers jumped the Train tracks and ran across the Interstate right in front of me, I was doing 80mph at the time, could have been very messy, and yesterday we were dodging Cows all day down little Roads.

    Speak when I get back

Another great set of photos Paul. The contrasts are brilliant in the 4th one.

Some of the most memorable wildlife has to be those beetles we first encountered at Childress. That noise they made as they fell on top of the cars in the parking lot outside and the state of the windscreen when we were trying to solve the 'dry county' problem.
